ARTWORK DESCRIPTION
This guy is the Sumatran (hairy) Rhino. He has been poached and forced out of his habitat to the point where there may actually be a only a handful left in the wild.
A characteristic of the Rhinos behaviour is that he loves to play in the mud. He needs to bath in mud to keep insects away, and for his own mental health. Isn’t that incredible! This act of getting messy in the mud is called ‘Wallowing’.
