ARTWORK DESCRIPTION
I once lived in a tiny little cottage in rural NSW, along a creek, amongst a forest of trees that seemed to be home to hundreds of bird species.
At dawn they would all wake and sing their melodic chants. In the late morning we watched the Willie Wagtail arrive, grooving to the beat of the crickets trilling in the summer heat.
At noon the Cockatoos would blow in with a roar, boisterously bellowing to one another from tree to tree.
Then late afternoon the Swallows would circle, for hours and hours, performing their mesmerising dance until dusk, when they found a safe place to rest until the next day.
